Jay's Hope was established in 2016 in memory of Jay Burger who lost his courageous battle with cancer at the age of 24. Sparked by Jay's giving and uniting spirit, the mission of Jay's Hope is to offer hope and support to college students and young adults battling cancer. On Oct. 13th I will be running 26.2 miles to raise funds for Jay's Hope. Thank you for your support!

On Oct. 13 I will embark on my 28th marathon. As I have for the last eight years, I will be running all 26.2 miles to honor my son Jay and raise funds for Jay's Hope. Jay's Hope was established in 2016 in memory of Jay who lost his courageous battle with cancer at the age of 24. Sparked by Jay's giving and uniting spirit, the mission of Jay's Hope is to offer hope and support to college students and young adults battling cancer. It's been an honor to host a Jay's Hope Team over these last eight years. Your support is helping us make a difference in the lives of such courageous and deserving young adults. Thank you!
