Northern Lights Centrum 2020 Gala & Auction
CENTRUM SCHOLARSHIP FUND CAMPAIGN
ALL DONATIONS NOW BEING MATCHED!
THANK YOU FOR VISITING THE TEAM BRIT FUNDRAISING PAGE!
We did it!! The 4 of us paddled, ran, trotted, cycled in the mid-day sun 38 miles, relaying over 6 hours. Phew. Thanks for donating to the Scholarship Fund - donations accepted until October 1st and everything's doubled!
On Monday, August 31st, in Port Townsend, 1 mad dog and 3 English people will take part in a relay triathlon to raise funds for the Centrum Scholarship Fund.
Claire will cycle 26 miles Ingrid will run 6 miles Martin with paddle 6 miles on his S.U.P.
Kit, our support crew, will oversee the passing of the baton – or wine bottle donated by our generous sponsor, Sailor Vineyard, in this case – and Bowen will support Ingrid by running alongside her, woofing out the miles on the Larry Scott Trail.
We are raising awareness of the much needed Centrum Scholarship Fund which offers life-changing arts experiences for participants from a broad spectrum of our community, region, nation, and world. We encourage you to donate what you can - every little bit helps and all donations are matched for the duration of the Campaign!
Now more than ever, at a time when the arts might be perceived as an extra, we need your help. For many, music and the arts are vital to their mental health and wellbeing and in these times of upheaval and chaos, creative outlets are more essential than ever. In fact, in the words of Elizabeth Alexander, Mellon Foundation President, "artists are the essential workers for the soul".
Thanks for helping us restore the creativity in our community!
