MC Foundation, Chamber Challenge for MC
· Each Chamber participating in this Challenge has its individual funds and priorities already established at the College and have been long-time supporters of MC. Each Chamber will be raising donations to their respective existing funds at MC during this campaign period, September 11 through October 31.
· Each of our Chambers of Commerce care deeply about education and workforce development in Montgomery County and each works closely with MC to help build a future of educated workforce leaders.
· Montgomery College allows an opportunity for industrious students to stay in Montgomery College to begin their pathway to a degree.
· Through donations, MC “provides critical financial and non-financial resources in advancing the Montgomery College mission to transform student lives and enrich the diverse communities it serves.” The need is great. In the Fall of 2021 for example, the College received nearly 4,000 applications for assistance and awarded over $3M in scholarships to 2,520 students.
