Robert V. Farrell Global Learning Scholarship in Sustainable Development
The Robert V. Farrell Global Learning Scholarship in Sustainable Development was created by Jill Farrell to honor her late husband, a founding faculty member of FIU. He was passionate about the world and deeply concerned about its future. He valued the environment, believed in principles that defined community, had a fierce love for people, and was devoted to his wife and family. He was also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Colombia.
His legacy will live on with scholarships to students pursuing globally focused research and practice in sustainable development, particularly students who are enrolled in the Peace Corps Prep or Global Learning Medallion program at FIU.
All donations raised will benefit the Robert V. Farrell Global Learning Scholarship in Sustainable Development Fund. Should the $25,000 goal be reached or surpassed with your donations, the Robert V. Farrell Global Learning Scholarship in Sustainable Development Endowment will be established to support scholarships in perpetuity.
