This year’s annual fundraiser for the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation at Yankee Stadium will have a certain heaviness to it this year, knowing that Katherine is no longer with us to laugh, cheer and enjoy some baseball. But we know Kat will be there with us in spirit–hopefully cheering on the Yankees while smiling down upon us. And maybe helping the other team make some errors. We know she’d want us to continue on with this mission of working with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation to help aid patient support efforts and research to find better treatments, prevention, and an eventual cure for this monster of a disease.
