Support UH Cougar First Impressions (CFI)

Cougar First Impressions (CFI) is an annual "Welcome to UH" experience sponsored by Staff Council and is held the first two days of each Fall semester. UH staff and faculty from across campus come together to help hundreds of UH students navigate campus by providing free campus maps, directions to class, pens, notebooks, frozen treats, and cold bottled water to facilitate their transition into campus life.

Since 1998, CFI has been made possible each year by generous contributions, without student fees, from various university units and community partners. Funding for CFI is used to prepare and present a training for new volunteers; execute the logistics of the 2-day CFI event; and organize a luncheon for volunteers in the fall, where volunteers are recognized for their dedication, leadership and accomplishments.
