The City Cellar

The Flowering Branch Children's Shelter resident "Abigail" loved the unique style of The City Cellar! The team decorated their cookies in "The Loft" area, and Abigail was able to express her artistic creativity by decorating her circular gingerbread cookies however she liked. She enjoyed her time at The City Cellar so much, that she asked about a job there! Abigail isn't quite old enough to have a job yet, but this experience definitely got her thinking about one.

What is the Christmas Cookie Competition? 

6 Local Chefs were paired with a child from Flowering Branch Children's Shelter. Children range in age from 10-17.

 

Chefs spent time with the child during the last two weeks of October developing and decorating a cookie together to enter in the competition.

 

Each team has a page dedicated to them under the "Competitors" tab where the community can vote for their favorite cookie.

How to Vote for Your Favorite

Each $1 equals 1 vote! Click on the "Competitors" tab to choose your favorite. Vote as many times as you would like! Once on their page, click on "Make a Donation" to donate any amount. Internet votes count for 50% of the final score. A panel of local celebrity judges will taste each cookie and provide the other 50% of the judging.

 

The winner of the competition will win a special outing with their partner from FBCS, Trophy, and bragging rights as the best Christmas Cookie in Cartersville.
