CrossRoads Missions

My name is Rich Shanks II, and for me, there is nothing more satisfying than to know I am making a difference in the lives of others. That’s why I joined the team at Crossroads Missions, and why I am so excited to use my passion for building relationships and connecting people to play a small part in affecting the lives of the many individuals and families Crossroads Missions touches throughout the United States and Mexico.

As Director of Advancement for Crossroads, it is my responsibility to raise both awareness and funds for the various divisions of our Mission. Whether we are serving people through leading teams on mission trips to Mexico, New Orleans and Appalachia, or framing homes in church parking lots across the country, or teaming with local churches, ministry organizations, and families through our ServeLouisville programs, it is vital that we enlist the help of God’s people both as volunteers and as partners in giving.

I graduated with a degree in Business from Milligan College, where I met my wife of 30 years, Cameron Blackwell Shanks. Cameron and I are blessed to have three amazing children: Rileigh, Calhan, and Keagan and two incredible daughters-in-law: Morgan and Piper. All five are serving the Lord in some capacity.

Cameron and I reside in Louisville, KY, where we enjoy spending time with family and friends.
