Dancing With The Stars Of North Georgia 2023

Whitney Hood is the Assistant Principal at Tiger Creek Elementary School in Catoosa County. She was raised in Catoosa County and is a product of Catoosa County Public Schools. She graduated from Dalton State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Specialist’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University. Whitney has served as an employee of Catoosa County Public Schools for the last 14 years where she has served as a teacher, head cheerleading coach, and 4 of those years an Assistant Principal. Whitney has been married to my husband Drew Hood for 13 years, and we have two little girls Kylie and Korie.
Whitney has witnessed firsthand the positive effects that Primary Healthcare has had on the students of Catoosa and Walker County. Tiger Care is the Primary Healthcare location located on the campus of Tiger Creek Elementary School, and they go above and beyond to care for both staff and students alike. This year alone they organized a vision van to come, in which a little over 200 kids had vision screening, and about 30 students will receive a free pair of glasses. Events like this is what makes Primary Healthcare so special, because students' needs were met within the comfort of the school and minimal class time was missed. Also, this year they have provided hygiene packs for our students. This is why I’m dancing!
