Community Media, 90.1 KPFT Houston has brought its listeners nearly 53 years of commercial free content from your friends and neighbors.  We recently launched a new studio home located at 4504 Caroline St., Houston, Tx 77004 in the Upper Museum District.

 
We serve the community in many ways and in return they have provided the support for the idea that we need a local voice.   
 
Today we use that voice to reach out to you and ask that you bring canned and other shelf stable food to supply the Manna Food Pantry of Third Ward, located just blocks from here.   
 
We will be collecting food at our community media station from Wednesday, January 25th through Sunday, January 29th for the Food Pantry.  You may also begin dropping off items at the station beginning January 25th. We ask you to bring what you can or donate some funds to ensure that nobody goes hungry. 

We will also gratefully accept blankets and warming items.
