Giving Tuesday 2023
What we do for them we do for Him. Matthew 25:40
You. Me. Us. HIM.
Explore three of our current pressing priorities. Please give to the LPU program or project where God is leading you. If that includes a focus of the university not listed here, please select Other on the donation form to tell us what you feel led to support at LPU.
Student Care
Ariana found healing and courage to step into God’s calling through Emmaus Road Christian Counseling. Now as an LPU alum, she sees how the Lord brought His purpose for her full circle. When you give to Student Care, your gift supports programs that are available to every student like free counseling, mentoring, tutoring, and Chapel. Beyond the classroom, these Student Care activities help students grow, deepen, and develop into leaders.
Each academic year, Emmaus Road provides over 2,000 psychotherapy sessions to LPU students, faculty, and staff. The demand to address the emotional and spiritual health of families is significant. When you give to Student Care, you help make these vital services available to LPU students at no charge.
Scholarships
Anthony is working multiple jobs and receiving Financial Aid, while serving in his local church and staying on top of his coursework. Your gift to Scholarships helps him stay the course, continue leading others to Jesus, and finish well. You can be the answer to students who have the greatest financial need. Your scholarship gifts go directly to the students who need them most.
In addition to general Scholarships for every student, LPU manages more than 90 additional scholarships that are named in honor of past university leaders or earmarked for distinct students including active military veterans, foster youth, and women in ministry. If you wish to support one of these special scholarships, please add your intent in the Comments section when you give your gift.
Security Project
President Angie and President Judah agree that LPU should remain a safe place for students to learn, live, and thrive. The Security Project is our most urgent need. Your gift to this project joins with a Department of Homeland Security grant to install security gates and fencing around the San Dimas campus to ensure that students, guests, faculty, and staff stay safe in a rapidly changing world.
In today's chaotic world, student safety and peace of mind are critical. To keep the grant of $150,000, we must raise matching funds of $100,000 by March 2024 to complete the security project. Your gift provides immediate support to this important campus need.
