Hope For Hayley
Please support Hope for Hayley and the Koujaian family in an effort to find a cure for Niemann-Pick Type C (NPC) disease, a rare, irreversible form of childhood dementia that affects Hayley Koujaian’s ability to walk, talk, swallow and think. Hayley was diagnoses with NPC disease in 2011 and since that time their family has been fighting for a cure.
Hope for Hayley has teamed up with the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Fund (APMRF) at Notre Dame, which is dedicated to finding a cure for NPC disease. The Parseghian family launched the APMRF in 1994 when 3 of Cindy and Mike Parseghian’s children (Coach Ara Parseghian’s grandchildren) were diagnosed with NPC disease. Since then they have raised over $50 million to support research, funded over 100 laboratories and now there are multiple potential life-saving therapeutics in clinical trials. Please join the fight by giving to the Parseghian Fund in memory of Hayley Koujaian.
On Friday, April 3, 2020 Hayley Koujaian passed away due to complications from Niemann-Pick Type C disease.
A message from the Koujaian family
Our Hayley is flying high with the Angels. Thank you for the outpouring of love, she is certainly missed by many. We promised her that the fight will & must continue for all our kids in Heaven & on Earth. Hayley taught us what perseverance is. Her heart was larger than life. We miss her beautiful smile, kisses & hugs but most of all her love of life.
The Koujaian family continues to fight for a cure with Hayley smiling down on them from Heaven. Please join the fight by giving to the Parseghian Fund in memory of Hayley Koujaian.
