ISU Honors Students come from Diverse Backgrounds and have Diverse Needs  

There are Honors Students who are first generation college students or grew up in rural communities.  Many Honors Students work their way through college or work to support their families.  They are musicians, researchers, caregivers, volunteers, tutors, athletes, and so much more!

All Honors Students are bright, creative, and highly motivated, but many are faced with financial challenges that can hinder success.

The University Honors Program is committed to providing sources of scholarships for Honors Students but cannot do it without the generous support of donors like you.  

Opportunity Scholarships fulfill sponsorship requests made by current Honors Students for specific academic costs that are not covered by tuition.  Requests include, but extend beyond, course textbooks, materials, and fees; test fees (e.g., GRE, MCAT); commuting costs; or research materials.

Your donation provides additional support for Honors Students to pursue their academic goals with decreased financial burden and increased opportunities.
