By participating in the Love Lockdown, you will not only change the life of the rescue pet that you choose to sponsor but the lives of many others who will come through our doors in the future.
The Humane Society of Forsyth County (HSFC) is an independent, privately funded, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving the people and pets of Forsyth County for over 40 years. HSFC is completely funded by donations from businesses and individuals in our community.
As the largest no-kill, non-profit humane center focusing our efforts in Forsyth County, GA, HSFC is dedicated to:
• Saving the county’s homeless cats and dogs
• Reducing pet over-population
• Educating our community about “responsible” pet ownership
Through our various programs, we aim to care for as many animals in and around Forsyth County as possible. Our Pet Food Pantry allows families who have fallen on hard times to continue feeding their pets instead of surrendering them to a shelter. Our Forever Care program helps to care for animals who have been adopted through our program and need medication or prescription foods. Through our Snip it in the Bud Program, we take in pregnant mamas, care for them through their pregnancy and birth and return them to their owner while taking in the litter of kittens to be adopted into their forever homes.
