Join the Dismas Charities Inc. Maui Wildfire Disaster Relief Efforts by supporting our virtual food drive.
Dismas Charities Inc. through our network of services has committed to Healing The Human Spirit for 60 years by restoring lives, families, and communities.
The Dismas Charities family, friends, and community are devastated by the recent Maui wildfires that have resulted in more than 100 casualties, more than 1000 people unaccounted for, and over 2000 buildings destroyed.
To help heal and restore the lives and families of those impacted by the horrific disaster, Dismas Charities has set a goal to raise $30,000 dollars for the Maui Food Bank. Dismas Charities will match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000. To get the ball rolling, Dismas is making the first donation of $10,000.
The Maui Food Bank provides safe and nutritious food to anyone in the Maui community at risk of going hungry. Since the Maui wildfire disaster, the Maui Food Bank has distributed more than 250,000 pounds of food, with a growing need for continued food assistance. With every $1 donated, the Maui Food Bank can provide 4 meals to the hungry in the community.
