Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine

    Fund for Students

July 2020 marked a milestone when, after more than five years of planning, creating and building, the UH Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine's inaugural class began, the Class of 2024.

July 2021 marks another milestone when the Class of 2025 begins their journey.

Why does this matter? Because UH medical students are cut from a different cloth, passionate about improving health and health care,
focusing on improving access, understanding and overcoming barriers to better health and health care FOR US and OUR COMMUNITY.

THE UH COLLEGE OF MEDICINE FUND FOR STUDENTS

We ask you to support UH medical students with a gift today. With this message to you, we are launching the UH College of Medicine Fund for Students, another milestone. Among other things, this fund will support:

    • WHITE COATS – Symbolic because it marks the beginning of medical students to become physicians, and marks the culmination of the effort and work they and those who’ve supported them have achieved.
    • WHITE COAT CEREMONY – A celebration for students as a class to receive their white coats and recite the Hippocratic Oath while family and friends witness and cheer for their success.
    • WELLNESS – Supporting medical students’ overall well-being with funds for gathering as a group and for meals during exams.
    • ACHIEVE – Celebrating well-earned achievements and marking milestones on their journeys.
