Support "Sharing Stories from 1977"

Sharing Stories from 1977 captures the stories of thousands of participants of the 1977 National Women's Conference, the only federally funded and most diverse women's conference in U.S. history. This public-facing, digital project features 1000+ students who have written biographies and interpretive essays, conducted oral histories, and helped create demographic maps. Sharing Stories is a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) winning flagship project of the University of Houston Center for Public History.

Your gift to Sharing Stories from 1977 will support student research fellowships, an annual summer internship program, technical equipment, an annual "scholar's summit," a range of exciting programming, and building/expanding our project's national infrastructure.
