Hi, I’m Las Flores! I was adopted by Mark (one of the former Foundation board presidents), who, in his characteristic auction exuberance for the Market, outbid everyone for beautiful me. :) However, having donated so much to acquire me, he now had to devote his entire yard to growing vegetables for his family. There was no longer room for me! Mark allowed his country bumpkin brother to convince me to move to Bainbridge Island, where I now thrive among my furry, feathered and flowering friends, guarding the western water approaches to the Pike Place Market.

I am a proud supporter of the Market Foundation and how the Foundation has been able to support medical care for the Seattle community.
