Pioneers are known for helping one another and overcoming great obstacles. At this time of crisis, to assist Alfred State College students who have serious financial needs due to COVID-19, we’ve established the Support Our Students – SOS Emergency Fund.
Most Critical Student Requests:
- Technology Needs – Laptops and internet access for online classes.
- Food Insecurity – After leaving campus, they have no meal plan.
- Financial Fears – With parents out of work, how to pay for college?
The list of needs go on. Our students need your help! We have set up the Support Our Students - SOS Emergency Fund to help address those immediate needs of our students that have been most heavily impacted by COVID-19.
The stress and burden to adapt and maintain a sense of stability is felt by all of us. We know this is true for all Alfred State alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff. Many of you may not be in a position to support the college as you normally would, and we understand that. For those of you who are able to lend your hand financially, the need is more urgent than ever.
So please, if you are able to give even a little right now, your support will go to immediate help for our students to continue to succeed. If you are not able to give financially at this time, we ask you to keep those impacted in your thoughts and prayers...we are all in this together!
You may also want to visit our Food Insecurity Fund. This is the other active need of our students during this coronavirus pandemic. Thank you.
