Advancing the Mission
In the spirit of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, The University of Scranton answers the challenging signs of our times by building on our strengths, embracing innovative new ways of proceeding, and remaining deeply committed to our mission as a Catholic and Jesuit institution. We plan for the future with a confidence inspired by our past success and with a shared sense of ownership displayed by the entire campus community. Through our strategic plan, we will work together to enhance the value of a Scranton education. Support the University in furthering its mission by gifts made to:
College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)
The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest and oldest academic division. Not only is the college the foundation for Scranton’s liberal arts programs, it also includes our renowned science and technology programs. The college is responsible for nearly all courses included in the General Education program, taken by all University students. This curriculum provides a foundation for learning in the Jesuit tradition that serves students throughout their life.
The Gail & Francis Slattery Center for the Ignatian Humanities
The Slattery Center for the Ignatian Humanities seeks to advance the study of the Humanities at The University of Scranton by supporting the work of both undergraduate students and faculty pursuing research and creative endeavors in the Humanities.
Kania School of Management (KSOM)

President's Business Council (PBC)
The President’s Business Council (PBC) was formed in 2001 by the University and a prominent group of alumni and friends with the purpose of advancing the mission of the University while supporting Presidential Scholars. The PBC is committed to strengthening the Scranton network in the business sectors and to providing mentoring, internship and career support for current students and meaningful engagement opportunities for alumni, parents and friends.
