In 2017 as a direct result of the inspiration of Dr. Howard Foltz and leadership Rev. Matthew Beemer, CLUB1040 partnered with RHEMA Nigeria and AIMS mobilize Unreached People Group (UPG) adoption among the 20 most strategic people groups in the mainly Mulslim north of Nigeria.

The Nigerian team leading the initiative named it R.E.A.C.H which is an acronym for Radical Evangelistic Advancement for Church Planters & Harvesters.

Since that time, more than 1,662 people have been trained in mission mobilization and more than 160 local Nigerian near-culture missionaries strengthened and resourced.

In 2020 the REACH team identified Bauchi State as their next UPG focus and in 2021 we celebrated 4 new mission church plants  among unreached people groups (UPG’s) in Bauchi State

These church fellowships met under trees, in the open air, or under temporary brush structures. When the rains came, they were laughed at by the non-believers in the community. Even so, often they would continue their worship services in the pouring rain.

Following the 2021  #GivingTuesday campaign, CLUB1040  provided match funding of $6100 to help build two  - First church buildings for two of the four mission churches. These buildings gave instant credibility to the church and was a catalyst for many new people to come to faith. Furthermore, the community now wants to use it to start a school too and has asked about a bore hold (well) for fresh water.

2022 Goal: Provide 50% ($6500) funding for another ‘First Church’ building to be built among a newly reached UPG. Each church building costs about $13,000 and holds about 100 people. These funds will be used to encourage match funding from local Nigerian partners.
