Your support brings life-changing donated specialty medical, dental, and mental health care services to Alaskans with low income and without health insurance.

With your support, we can help thousands of Alaskans access specialty healthcare available only through Anchorage Project Access’ (APA’s) healthcare partnerships. As stated by APA patient, Teresa O., “I found myself in desperate need of life-saving surgery. I had no idea where to turn when I was referred to APA. I’ve always worked and I was taught at an early age to give back. I had no health insurance when I was referred to APA for surgery. I feel like I was gifted an extension of life through all the great and honorable care that delivered me from an uncertain end. I can’t say enough about how blessed I am to have received this gift.” APA’s donating surgeon improved Teresa’s health which allowed her to return to work. APA assisted her to enroll in affordable health insurance the following year.

APA is Alaska’s only healthcare safety net of its kind. Your participation helps us to continue providing patients with life-saving donated cancer treatment, orthopedic surgeries, cardiac care, dental surgeries, mental health care, radiology scans, physical therapy, and dental care to name a few of the 42 specialties donated through APA. We do not charge any patient for the coordination of their donated care. Your sponsorship is essential in ensuring our patients receive the health care they need from over 780 local donating providers. Your support provides care coordination, medication assistance, transportation, interpreter services, and access to community resources.
