Missouri S&T VSTOL Design Team
The Missouri S&T Vertical Short Take-Off and Landing (V/STOL) Design Team is the newest campus design team. In just one semester, these 15 students have a vehicle design in progress. V/STOL is a booming field of study and these students want to be a part of it; the ambitious Miners are already partnering with other universities to establish a collegiate V/STOL competition.
V/STOL encompasses anything that takes off and lands vertically, from the F-35 joint strike fighter to SpaceX’s reusable launch vehicles. To mimic these top industry programs, this team is going to need your support, everything from a $1000 flight controller to structural raw materials.
