New Hampshire educators are going OVER THE EDGE for grieving students!

6 New Hampshire educators from around the state will be rappelling 24 stories to show their support for grieving students and the Friends of Aine Center!

Did you know that 1 in 12 children in New Hampshire will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the age of 18? Approximately 70% of teachers have a grieving student in their classroom while only 7% of teachers have had any type of grief training.  The need to support grieving kids in our state is immense and The Friends of Aine Center for Grieving Children and Families is the only nonprofit organization in New Hampshire whose sole mission is to support these kids for FREE, while providing resources to our schools so that educators can be more equipped to support those students who are grieving.

The Friends of Aine Center has provided Grief Backpack kits and training to over 140 schools across 7 New Hampshire counties, is running a pilot in-school grief program for middle school students, and provides workshops and trainings as needed.

Together, we can make a difference and work towards our shared vision that no child grieves alone. Together, we can ensure that children and teens are getting the support they need. Together, we can make all of this happen.

Please support NH educators in helping grieving students as we go OVER THE EDGE for this important cause!
