CrossRoads Missions

Noelle was born and raised in Athens, Ohio, and graduated from the local college, Ohio University (OU). While pursuing her degree at OU, she was a part of a student ministry called Reach Out on Campus (ROC), where she became very involved and served on their leadership team. She also began regularly participating in their mission trip opportunities, where she fell in love with short-term missions and spent two Summers interning with CrossRoads in Appalachia and New Orleans. As her college experience ended, she felt called to pursue ministry as a career and began expressing this to her campus minister, Dodger Vaughan. He and the ROC Board were looking for someone to take on helping start another chapter of the ministry at another local community college. Noelle worked starting that ministry with Dodger for the next year and a half until she moved to Mexico to marry her husband, whom she met on a mission trip to the CrossRoads Mexico field. After her and Chepe’s wedding, she began helping the CrossRoads Mexico team regularly and eventually asked for a possibility of a more permanent position. Noelle is currently fundraising for a yearlong internship with CrossRoads Mexico with the possibility of her role becoming permanent. She is very excited about this new opportunity God has given to her and asks for your prayers, encouragement, and consideration of financial support. Thank you, and God bless you!
