We've all heard about homeless youth... but did you know that there are OVER 400 young people in our community today who are experiencing homelessness? These kids might be in a hotel with their families.... or they might be on a friend's couch... or they might be in the woods or under a bridge. Regardless, these are some of the most vulnerable residents of our community. The are the targets of human traffickers. They are much more likely to become addicted to substances, and much less likely to complete schooling. Together, we can work to create LASTING CHANGE which helps these kids to get on the path to self-sufficiency. Will you join me in supporting UNITED WAY's effort to create a fund which is dedicated to supporting the needs of our homeless youth? The funds we raise might help pay for a drivers license... or clothing for a first work uniform... or school supplies. The need is great, and your support is INCREDIBLY appreciated.
