United Way's Talent United 2021
Parental Lock, a student band at The Rock Underground Music School of Greenwood Lake, consists of 5 members, all ages 11 and 12:
- Madison Lijoi, 11: singer, guitarist in the band, also plays ukelele and viola.
- Madison Buliung, 11: singer, bassist in the band, also plays drums
- Tyler Saladino, 11: guitarist, drummer and singer in the band
- Milad Vasudevan, 12: keyboardist
- Dylan Svec, 11: singer, bassist in band
Students of The Rock Underground Music School of Greenwood Lake recently studied the genres of Soul and Funk, with each of the 4 student bands performing 4-6 songs in the genre. Students were socially distanced in separate rooms set up like a recording studio, with microphones and headphones all around, and performed "live", filmed with 7 cameras and edited together.

United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region (UWDOR) is hosting our first Talent United contest. The winner will be announced at our virtual Celebration of Service Awards on June 8, 2021. The winner is determined by the most votes. Everyone can vote 1x a day for free or donate to vote more frequently. Show your support to these amazing talents and to your community!
