Camp Shady Brook is a magical place where children can experience the outdoors, challenge themselves, make friendships that last a lifetime, and connect with caring adults. When you donate to Camp, you ensure all kids have the opportunity to experience that magic -- regardless of their families' financial circumstances. 

Every dollar donated to Camp Shady Brook is used to provide scholarships and financial assistance so that all kids can experience summer camp.

  • Nearly 1/3 of all campers rely on financial assistance to attend camp

  • 403 campers from partner organizations representing organizations like the Arthritis Foundation, Seven Stars Foundation, Camp Corral, Elevating Connections Camp to Belong, Camp Hope and more
  • Almost 40% of all partner campers are military children

Founded 145 years ago, the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is one of the oldest and largest nonprofit organizations serving the community. With six centers spanning 32 miles, the Y serves families as far north as Monument and as far south as the Fountain Valley. 

Each year, the Y provides more than $1 million in financial support and assistance across all of our programs and services. With more than 12k members and nearly 40k program participants, the Y strengthens the foundation of the community across our region.
