Graduating Student-Athletes | Winning Championships
SSU Athletics is committed to providing our student-athletes with outstanding opportunities on the field, in the classroom, and in our larger community. We are dedicated to SSU's institutional mission, and we strive to contribute to the University's academic success. In order to accomplish this, two things must happen -- helping all of our students earn their undergraduate degree, and providing them an incredible - and fun - athletic experience. We need you to forge forward and continue to raise the bar for intercollegiate athletics. We are reaching out to those who believe in our student-athletes, our biggest fans, and our new friends to help us excel - on and off the field.
We have received generous support from our alumni and friends within our community over the years. We thank you! But, we also challenge you to help us go even farther now. We appreciate everyone who has contributed with gifts, supported with cheers, and invested their time. Imagine what we can do next WITH YOUR HELP!

Our alumni, parents, and friends are behind every win we have. Gifts to SSU Foundation for the SSU Athletics Scholarship Fund, support SSU's 13 teams across 8 different sports. You make a difference for more than 300 student-athletes.
All gifts made to the "Tiger Strong" campaign appeal will support student scholarships for SSU student-athletes. Undergraduate scholarships are the core around which SSU Athletics programs are built. They are enormously important in recruiting and retention of the best and brightest student-athletes. Most importantly, scholarships enable our student-athletes to pay more attention to their work, on and off the field, and less to making ends meet.
That's why we need you! SSU Athletics is a strong and impressive program. We have made great strides these last few years in graduating our students and winning championships, and we look forward to taking on the challenges ahead. But we've never done it alone, and never will.
With your help, we will keep SSU Athletics accessible to the the best and brightest. We will continue to keep pace with our peer institutions. We will be able to attract and retain the most talented, driven, and capable coaches. And we will continue to up the ante.
