Dear Women’s Basketball Supporter:
Gallaudet University, located in the heart of Washington, D.C., is the world’s only university with programs and services specifically designed for deaf and hard of hearing students.
As Gallaudet’s budget distribution for athletics remains stagnant, keeping up with the rising cost of travel and necessary equipment is challenging. On behalf of all involved in the women’s basketball program, we ask you for your support for this upcoming 2019-2020 season.
Our everyday goal is to be able to inspire the Deaf community with the Gallaudet spirit and the value that our great women’s team offers. The last several years, with thanks to your support - spiritual, financial or otherwise, our women’s team posted a respectable winning season while earning second place in our post-season conference tournament. We had several honors and award winners this year. With our returning veterans and incoming freshmen, we anticipate another successful season!
Your charitable gift will help us cover travel expenses as well as the necessary equipment for our team. You are welcome to donate any amount as we would be greatly appreciated.
