2023 Visitor Industry Charity Walk Event:
Saturday, May 06, 2023 starting at Ala Moana Beach Park Magic Island
This year, Oahu’s Visitor Industry Charity Walk will be held on May 06 at Ala Moana Beach Park starting at 7 AM! Last year marked our return to an in-person walk and we look forward to hosting you again for another successful event. We are excited to see you on May 06 for a fun day filled with food, music, and fellowship all while raising funds for hundreds of local nonprofit organizations!
Mahalo for supporting HIDA! We are giving all HIDA Walkers a drawstring backpack as a token of appreciation. This will be great for collecting all the yummy snacks and treats you receive along the Walk!

About The Charity Walk
The Charity Walk, founded in 1974 and expanded statewide in 1978, is now Hawai‘i’s largest single-day fundraising event by a non-profit organization. Since its inception, more than $43 million has been raised to support hundreds of local charities throughout the state. Spearheaded by the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association and its non-profit arm Hawaii Hotel Industry Foundation, the Charity Walk is traditionally held on Hawai‘i, Kaua‘i, Lana‘i, Maui, Moloka‘i, and O‘ahu. Money raised on each island or county stays there.
