Hi All!
We've all heard about homeless youth... but did you know that there are OVER 400 young people in our community today who are experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity?
IMAGINE if this was YOUR SON or DAUGHTER.
These kids might be in a hotel with their families.... or they might be on a friend's couch... or they might be in the woods or under a bridge. Regardless, these are some of the most vulnerable residents of our community. These are the targets of human traffickers. They are much more likely to become addicted to substances, and much less likely to complete schooling. Together, we can work to create LASTING CHANGE which helps these kids to get on the path to self-sufficiency. Will you join me in supporting UNITED WAY's ending youth homelessness fund which is dedicated to supporting the needs of our homeless youth? The funds we raise might help pay for a drivers license... or clothing for a first work uniform... or school supplies. In 2020, these funds even helped launch the Stepping Stones Homeless Youth Drop in Center. The need is great, and your support is INCREDIBLY appreciated. On June 12, 2021, I'll be jumping out of a (perfectly good) plane in order to make a statement that we are FEARLESS in our fight to help our local youth. Thank you so much for YOUR SUPPORT!
