The Buffalo Promise Annual Scholarship was created by newly appointed President- Dr. Steven Mauro, his family, and the Alfred State Executive Leadership Team following the horrific mass shooting in Buffalo on May 14, 2022.
This scholarship is to honor the legacy of those lives taken too soon and will be offered to NEW students from the City of Buffalo preferably from the east side of the community who will be attending Alfred State College or our Northland Facility.
This response is to continue the act of supporting others and lifting one another up to prosper and become better people even in the shadows of hate.
