Denise was born on November 23, 1958. She was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) in August of 2018 and fought with everything she had for 5 and half years, beating the odds multiple times over. To describe her as a fighter would be an understatement. She raised 4 beautiful children and has 2 grandchildren, all of whom brought her so much joy and were the main reasons we believe she was able to fight for as long as she did.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions in Denise’s memory consider donating to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation to assist in making advancements in research, and support ongoing advocacy and awareness efforts for this devastating disease.
