Who will carry the torch for the future of neurosurgery?
We’re thrilled to be participating in the Neurosurgery Research & Education Foundation (NREF) third annual Cushing Bowl – a competition amongst residency programs to increase engagement, fundraising and further NREF’s mission.
We look forward to competing against our colleagues from neurosurgical programs from around the country in this unique contest.
This is an opportunity for us to build community, while raising funds to further NREF’s mission of advancing neurosurgical research and education.
Our goal is to become the first team to drink in exaltation from the Cushing Bowl trophy! Your support is crucial and much appreciated.

The Neurosurgery Research & Education Foundation (NREF) is the philanthropic arm of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), supporting education and basic science and clinical research to foster improved outcomes for our patients with neurosurgical diseases.
