I am honored to represent all breast cancer angels and sisters in this year's gala! As I celebrate my 5th year survivorship and 4th year with LPHOH, there is no other profound calling I could have imagined. My son and I were truly blessed when we were chosen for the LPHOH Myrtle Beach retreat in 2018, a life-changing experience that I have held dear to my heart. I look forward to sharing this journey with all the LPHOH families! I am dancing in honor of my colleague from Wake Forest University, Liz Lloyd, who became an angel after metastatic breast cancer in 2018. I will also be honoring two participants in the 2019 Emerald Isle retreat in which I volunteered who have also become angels, Meagen Schuette and Ashley Cshuta.
