"What I appreciate the most about playing volleyball at Mount Mary is that it provides me the opportunity to play the sport I love competitively while also allowing enough time to excel in my studies. I really love how my coach provides the perfect balance of hard work and fun at practices and tournaments. The team has a really strong bond and it makes the whole season and everything we do that much more enjoyable."

As the volleyball program works to build strong bonds with our fans, alumnae, recruits, players, and players’ families, we have chosen a project that will keep all of these groups invested in the action when they cannot make it to the Bloechl Center for home matches. Upgrading the scoreboard equipment/software in the Bloechl Center will improve the video livestream quality of our matches by allowing us to add a “scorebug” on the screen. Scorebug graphics will tell our viewers the score of the match, which set is being played, and who the opponent is. As we build the culture and identity of our program, we want to provide our extended family (and recruits) with the knowledge that our resources are in line with that of our competitors. -- Natalie Balleto, Head Volleyball Coach
