ONE DAY FOR DAWGS 2024
Welcome to Ferris State Baja Racing!
We are a club at Ferris State that includes members from multiple different programs including Automotive, Welding, manufacturing, and many more. We build an off-road vehicle entirely from scratch. We start with designing the car on solid works, bending, cutting, and welding tubing to create a frame and fabricating and assembling engine, transmission, and suspension components. We race schools all across the country in off-road endurance races and compete in multiple events each year. This club allows students to learn hands-on skills and important engineering principles, while also learning great teamwork and communication skills. We are looking for donations to help us further our club and allow for more students to be able to be involved and attend races. We are also in need of new rims and tires for the four-wheel drive SAE baja vehicle build.
