The Mathematics Department at Ferris State University wants to offer an additional resource to support our students in their math courses on campus by creating an inclusive and safe space for all students to ask questions, learn, and improve their confidence and skills in a subject that is often feared by many. Many institutions have tutoring centers that focus on math only.
Creating a space such as this here at Ferris would encourage students to frequently visit the Mathematics Department where faculty offices are also conveniently located. Between creating this center, encouraging positive and productive interactions between students/tutors/faculty, and your support, we can further assist our students as they work towards their degrees!
