ONE DAY FOR DAWGS 2024
¡Hola! This is Spanish Professor Eric Warner and I am helping our Ferris-Costa Rica Study Abroad 2024 group fundraise to support their experience!
This year, we have a record number of students who will be Studying Abroad in Costa Rica with Prof. Lucero Flores-Páez, a Costa Rican instructor, and me!
We seek help to defer costs for students during the educational 4-week Spanish Immersion program where students take classes at Academia Tica and live with Spanish-speaking host families.
Additionally, any fundraising during One Day for Dawgs will support excursions to museums, a coffee plantation, the Pacific & Caribbean Coasts, Costa Rican businesses, and sustainable tourist locations in the Talamanca region with the Bribri tribe, etc.
Your support helps us to keep costs accessible for all students so they can continue to learn Spanish, and about Latin American culture and society through the lens of Costa Rica!
Our impact upon return will allow our students to apply bilingual skills and intercultural competencies in their communities and future careers!
