The school year is rapidly approaching, and thousands of teachers and students will still start school without essential supplies for academic success. Moreover, teachers spend hundreds of dollars out of their own pockets annually to stock their classrooms properly. United Way of Northeast Florida believes everyone should have an equitable chance to succeed in school. That’s why every year we partner with First Coast News to Stuff the Bus!
Now through Aug. 1, United Way of Northeast Florida and First Coast News are joining forces to Stuff the Bus, our annual initiative supporting classrooms, teachers and students in need. When you donate to Duval County, your gift purchases school supplies for eight Full Service Schools Family Resource Centers located throughout Jacksonville, supporting 87 schools and more than 57,000 students. When you donate to Clay County, your donation benefits 47 schools and more than 40,000 students through Impact Clay and the Clay Education Foundation.
