It's been heartbreaking to watch Hurricane Harvey devastate Houston and the Gulf Coast with record amounts of rainfall and an unimaginable path of wreckage. So many have lost their homes, businesses and loved ones. Though the rains are over, the clean-up and rebuilding efforts are just beginning.
Three properties developed and managed by Trademark Property Co.—Rice Village, Market Street – The Woodlands, and La Palmera—are in Houston and Corpus Christi and everyone under the Trademark umbrella wants to help their fellow employees, friends, and family members in those three communities, along with countless others in surrounding areas.
Trademark has launched fundraising efforts across its family of properties working through local chapters of United Way. Donations made through La Palmera will go directly to United Way of the Coastal Bend to support both the immediate needs and long-term recovery efforts in the areas it serves, with no deduction taken for general and administrative expenses—100 percent of the donations will be used for relief efforts.
And please know that contributions will have even more of an impact as donations are matched dollar for dollar. La Palmera owner, Miller Capital Advisory Inc., will match local donations up to $50,000 made through La Palmera while Trademark has committed to match up to $150,000 in donations across participating properties through its Make a Difference initiative.
Thank you to all who are joining La Palmera in this important effort.
