Lumpi retired from the Phoenix Police K9 Unit in December of 2022. Lumpi had many deployments, finds and apprehensions while working with Patrol and SAU (SWAT). Lumpi’s favorite exercise since retired is pulling a weight sled and long walks every morning with Dad. While working, Lumpi’s favorite activities were hunting for suspects and destroying the inside of Dad’s Police Tahoe. Mack is a dual purpose K9 certified in narcotics, patrol, tracking, and evidence recovery. Serving the community of Nebraska City, Mack has also deployed to assist outside agencies in two states and more that 12 departments. In his free time Mack loves to play catch with his toys. Mack is very loyal and protective of the family and enjoys the ability to get close for affection. Mack does not partake in treats and is very particular on his food. Mack is an expert when it comes to his narcotics searches. He is very detailed and while he may smell the odor from a distance, he prides himself on getting as close to the source as possible. This had resulted in many cases within the schools on backpacks. Mack also detained a suspect in a basement of a home after stealing a vehicle. Suspect advised he would have fought officers had it not been for the dog. Magic was brought to Delaware to serve with the Delaware State Police Canine Unit. He was assigned to his Handler Master Corporal Erik Foraker (Retired), where they served as a single purpose explosives team for 8 years. Together, they served the citizens of Kent County, Delaware, as well as working with the Amtrak Police Department, United States Air Force and other agencies within the State of Delaware. Throughout his career, Magic took part in numerous public safety demonstrations, and community events such as the NASCAR races at Dover Downs, and music events including Firefly. Magic moved out to the country with his family, and now enjoys running around farm fields, taking truck rides and laying on his bed next to a work bench in a shop. He loves beggin strips, pig ears and anything meat flavored. Magic has met numerous politicians and famous people. His meet and greet at a charity benefit with country music artist Sam Grow was one of the coolest. K9 Matti came to his handler, Officer Dunn, from Holland by way of California. Prior to being partnered with one another K9 Matti trained for and certified with a PH1 title in Holland in KNPV. Our sweet Maui served Stafford County for only two years however, he will continue to serve our hearts for many more. Maui’s favorite thing to do is chew on his ball. K-9 MOOSE (Brand T482) retired on April 8, 2021, at the age of 10 1/2. K-9 MOOSE trained at Auburn University and worked to provide world class security at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport in Austin, Texas, since 2012. During his career, the MOOSE provided support for special events, such as: (3) NFL Super Bowls, (2) NCAA Conference Final Four Championships, the Papal visit to DC, the DHS Secretary visit at the Texas-Mexico border, as well as assisting multiple Airports and Agencies on numerous occasions. One notable Agency was BORSTAR. The Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue Unit (BORSTAR) is a specialized unit of the United States Border Patrol trained in emergency search and rescue and medical response, to include the Working Dog. K-9 MOOSE enjoyed being a live participant for BORSTAR K-9 Medic Courses on many occasions. The MOOSE retired with his pack out of Marble Falls, Texas. Nitro came from Croatia along with several other GSPs. He was the only one that excelled in his craft and became well kown as one of the best explosive detection K9s in the county. He worked primarily in the county and conducted several dignitary and government VIP protective searches over his 12 year career. Odey X037 is a Hungarian Vizsla and worked as an explosive detection canine for DHS TSA for 7 1/2 years. Odey worked out of San Francisco, Phoenix, Orlando, and San Diego. Odey had an amazing nose for detecting explosives and won over hearts everywhere he went. Odey retired in May 2022 and has been loving his life with his family at home. Odey loves treats and his favorite reward, the yellow ball on a rope. Odey is truly a “Velcro” Vizsla and follows his handler everywhere. Canine Onar was assigned to me as a dual purpose canine from Fall 2016 to Fall of 2023. He was NPCA certified in patrol and explosives. We traveled up and down the state as needed to assist our state and local agencies. K-9 Onar's favorite job to do was conduct tracks, which he excelled in. Since 2019 K9 Puk worked for the Transportation Security Administration specializing in Explosive Detection working at Boston Logan Airport. Rex A

Rex was born in Slovakia in Sept, 2013. He came to the US in Oct, 2014, where he was paired up with Officer Nicholas Ague from the South Londonderry Twp Police in Pennsylvania. Rex was South Londonderry's first K9 officer. Rex and his handler were certified as a dual-purpose police K9 unit (Narcotics detection and Patrol work) through the North American Police Work Dog Assoc. Less than a year into Rex's career, he located over $20k worth of narcotics hidden in the engine compartment of a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation. Rex was responsible for locating tens of thousands of dollars worth of narcotics during his career. He was also responsible for assisting in locating several suspects and missing persons. When Rex was not on duty, he enjoyed spending time with his handler and family, and his "younger brother" Benny, (a min-pin). Rex also enjoys patrolling his back yard and making sure anyone walking by knows he is there. Rex retired at the age on 9 in on Dec 31, 2023 after 8 years of service. He now enjoys his retirement at his handler's home, along with the family, pets, and his handler's new K9 partner. During his nearly Nine years of service to the employees, visitors and properties of the Federal Government, K9 Rexo has had a long illustrious career with the Federal Protective Service and their stakeholders. In addition to the thousands of Explosive Detections sweeps, and after hour call for service, that K9 Rexo has performed at Federal facilities: K-9 Rexo has been deployed to Law Enforcement Operations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, New Orleans, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Tennessee. K-9 Rexo has conducted Explosive Detection Sweeps for the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church: Pope Francis, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
